Market Commentary

1. NF Gapped down below PDL with the trend GAP.

2. Tried to break 10480 level (below which 30 point fluid exist) failed and moved swiftly
till BRN crossing DO

3. Struggled to sustain above BRN... marked IRH -- 10507, IRL -- 10477

4. Now 2 possible trade setup's emerging... BPB of IRH Long with FTA PDL 35 point away
& BO/BPB of DL/IRL Short,, 22 point fluid exist til 10456.

5.  Skipped BPB of IRH as not convinced of PA.. there was deep pull back..
Not having enough confidence to risk 13 point.. Will wait for PA in Zone 10436-43

6. NF trading in 2 ranges so far.. Break of upper range upside is bullish…
Hurdle is in zone of 10436-43-52. If NF broke downside of upper range,,
BPB of RL can be attempted but momentum will be below DL

7. Trade 1 : BOF of DL Long at 10491 with Initial SL 10475… Took with 5 lots.

8. Moved SL to 10484 as price struggling to pass above earlier swing high

9. Added 5 more lots at 10533 with Initial SL 10517; Avg price is 10512

10. Moved SL to 10535… NF strongly moved above PDL but reversed with same speed

11. Exited with gain of 21 points

Immature Exit resulted boring day later

Doubled the No. of Points Earned, because i have added 10 lots more while Price breaking 3 Day High (also then DH).. Worked well. Closing the day as I may Over Trade out of Enthu!

Good Setup's getting filtered out due to volatility.

Had BOF of DH not came... day would have ended very boring!

Gains adjusted in terms of Nifty points (trade size 10 lots) for easy track.

Stock Watch List for 12- Feb

Off late i am experimenting on ways to trade stocks... Doing manual analysis taking lot time during live market and not so effective given the fact majority of moves in stocks will be over in first hour.

Tried scanning stocks with help of AFL, but not all cross of PDH/PDL coming in scan. Used with Amibroker.. Data feed issues, back filling etc i feel unnecessary distractions.

So trying different approach now.. EOD Analysis of Nifty 50 stocks and noting down levels to monitor. You can find my watch list for 12-Feb from below location.

Have to see how this goes!
Also got few suggestions from fellow traders.

1. Using Chartink scanners to find stocks crossing PDH/PDL nearly real time
2. Using ShareKhan Trade Tiger SW which shows us stocks crossing PDH/PDL

Have to see which is better approach in terms time and effort wise.

Adjusted net gain to 6 points.. because trade quantity is reduced to 4 Lots from usual 10 lots.. due to 30 Points SL

Adjusted net gain to 18 points.. because trade quantity is reduced to 2 Lots from usual 10 lots.. due to 30 Points SL and trade being counter trend.

PreMarket View :

9:37 AM - 100 point gap down; price refused to go down further.. IR formed (10657-10606)

BOF if IRH short would be with the trend if comes.

10:09 AM - Price sustained above IRH, HH-HL pattern visible now. Now how price behaves at PDH/PDC is important.. If that also taken out bias will change. Any strong rejection, will attempt short.

10:44 AM - Placed alert for price at 10697,, will look out for short as BOF of DH/BRN if comes

12:30 PM - AD Ratio increasing; NF unable to go down after minor rejection at 10700 last time.. Now attempting to concur the same. If sustained this time BPB of BRN is good attempt.. PDC/PDH is 35 point away

12:50 PM - Trade 1 : BPB of BRN long at 10710 with Initial SL 10694, FTA PDC/PDL 25 point away. Took with half of quantity.

1:15 PM - Exited with loss of 9 point

1:45 PM - Hesitated in shorting below 10694 after a TRAP; Closing the day,, i dont expect another better trade signal for today
