19 - 02 - 2016 (Nifty)




  1. Opened with in PDH and PDL; expecting range trades
  2. IR formed; BRN just above RH... will wait for PA at BRN or PDH
  3. Seeing overlapping candles ignoring BOF short of BRN, not worth of 14 points SL
  4. Missed BOF of DL long as well, as no TST (or) swing point happen; didn’t expect such a sharp fall
  5. Will wait for PA at PDH now
  6. Will see if sell happens at fag end
  7. Trade 1: BOF of PDH short at 7210 with initial SL 7221
  8. Exited with loss of 13 points

    Rose,
    You are supposed to sell BOF of PDH at 15:15 below 7210. In that case, it would have ended in scratch. Buy why did u went for sell at 14:45 before any swing point formation (as marked by arrow) ? (as you mentioned you are not comfortable with such trades)
    Then you should have taken the BOF of DL as well.
    Want to know the logic behind those two trades.

      BOF of PDH is immature trade.. i was doing revenge trading as missed 2 good BOF trades before :)

      Reg your Q on BOF of PDL..i had this confusion, which got clarified from URD... Check comments in his blog.

      Ha ha.. :D "Revenge Trading" Don't ever dare. Market is supreme. I have burnt my fingers many times. That is when I knew very little about trading. But coming in contact with ST Sir and URD's blog, I am trying to change my mindset, which is not at all easy. We should follow the rules strictly and accept our mistakes and don't repeat it again.

      Regarding the BOF of PDH one should not have taken that sell trade, according to my limited knowledge is that :
      1. Hardly 30-40 minutes left for the day.
      2. BRN (7200) was just 10 points away (No adequate space for the trade, as explained by ST Sir in his blog)

      Yes, I just checked URD's blog. Nice explanation. Cleared my doubts as well.

    Hi Rose..could u please update about ur abreviation used in ur post...actully these are different from URD or ST blogs like DL and PA...
