Investing in stocks - Short Term

For the first time, i am trying my hand in investing stocks for short term (3-6 months). I picked stocks from my Guru Ilango Sir suggestions in his blog recently (except Infosys). How ever i applied my DP understanding in filtering to few and came with below levels. So far holding AXIS bank alone, lets see how this goes!

Any comments/suggestions/critic are most welcome :)

Below is example for how i came up with these levels.

  1. Hi Rose

Is it based on JNSAR you have selected the stocks but the entry is based on DP - intraday. Once entered, position will be kept till the target reached (or) trailing SL is hit- is in't?. Could you pls explain what is your basis of arriving at the Target ? if it is based on JNSAR then there are other stocks also under Nifty 50 - why did you choose only these 12 stocks. Thanks for you time & Charts.

    Regards,

    Veer

    1. No Veer. I didn't look at JNSAR levels. Recently Ilango sir gave stock recommandations for short term stock investments, i picked all above stocks from that list.. regarding levels, i choose entry levels at recent supports /range lows.. and targets as range high's or earlier highs.. Attached ACC example, have a look.

I will move SL below to pull back lows after entry, just like how i trade intraday.

BTW did you ever traded stocks for short term (day or week or month JNSAR?). if yes, how was your results?

  4. Rose,
Look at option trading strategies. I feel that is the way to go if you want to carry positions for longer period.

    2. Hi Rose,

Before going further some statutory Warning :).
A> Just make sure you are not deviating from your main goal that is mastering DP system.
I did this mistake, took me 6-8 months to find way back and cut all distraction.

      Regarding Option Trading#
Spending time with historical data would be best thing to do. Take a look at this
      http://www.finideas.com/Software/FinTester/7/
There could be free data/Tools also I haven't come across it.
