2nd Trade would have been avoided.. i observed AmiFeed giving wrong price during LIVE.. PDC value and DL values not updating properly.. After back filling, candles itself changing some times.
Earlier i faced same issue with True Data as well.
Suggest me any better alternative... other than Global data feed.
Used Trade Tiger today, price display wise, its working good.

ReplyDeleteI don't think there is any better data provider other than these. And don't expect any software to work 100% all time. Best thing to do, when there is some error in software is to stay away.
All other data providers are cheap versions. So the chances of errors will be more, unless you are trading very higher time frame like hourly/daily.

Which product of Global data feed? I found https://new.globaldatafeeds.in/nimbledatapro very good.
ReplyDeleteAfter back filling, candles itself changing some times. -- This is the right way. After 1m or so, the candle gets updated with correct low and high's. During real time, exchanges give snapshots and some ticks are bound to be missed. So, the candle is updated with correct info. after some time.
global data feed is costly compared to others but quality of the feed and ease of usee is good. I have been using GFDL for couple of years now.
If you are selecting a symbol during market hours, it would try to fetch the history data
even for the day and this whold process is slow. I use the following trick.

Trick to GFDL data feed - Since you are using ~20 symbols, make a separate watchlist. Before market starts, just select the top of the list and scan through the list. With that, it would have triggered plug-in to fetch data as soon as market starts.
